Quickflix Movie Rentals Directors and Staff
|
25th July 2008
Quickflix Movie Rentals have been sending me unsolicited Spam e-mail
messages. At no stage did I ever subscribe to Quickflix and
nor have I asked Quickflix to send me any e-mail messages.
I have sent Quickflix 3 e-mails telling you not to spam e-mail me anymore
- but that has not helped. I have unsubscribed through the Quickflix
website on 2 occasions but that also did not help. I have telephoned and
spoken to Quickflix staff member Rachel and complained. She
said that I had now been removed from the Quickflix computer system and
that her manager, Quickflix staff member Andrew Kirkwood, would phone me
back. To date he has never done this.
I then spoke with Quickflix staff member Michael who seemed quite amused,
but said that Quickflix would remove my e-mail address from their
records. He claimed that sending me unsolicited e-mails showing their offers was not
spam. Well, I believe it is - and I personally don't think that receiving spam
e-mail messages are a joke.
I again unsubscribed through the Quickflix website but that also did not
help as despite receiving an e-mail from Quickflix stating that I had
unsubscribed, the spam continued.
I sent a message of complaint though your Quickflix
website e-mail system but to date that has not been replied to.
So, Quickflix Directors and Staff, please will someone from your company
ensure that I do not receive anymore of your spam e-mail messages. I don't
know how long Quickflix plan to be in business for but if it is for the
next 20 odd years I certainly don't want to be receiving your spam e-mails until then.
If Quickflix continue sending me spam I will write to your stakeholders
and ask them if they can help to stop this.
